Weekdays: First hour £60 then £37.50/hr thereafter unless agreed beforehand (material costs are not included), there is no VAT to add on.

Out of hours/Weekends:  £70/hr (material costs are not included); there is no VAT to add on.

Emergency: Emergency call-out charged at £90 for the first hour and see above for subsequent hours worked; there is no VAT to add on.

These prices are base on number of man-hours i.e. a single person onsite working a full hour. Where two or more Electricians are onsite the total man-hours will be charged accordingly and will be detailed along with material cost in the invoice following satisfactory completion of works undertaken.

For EICRs the initial rate applies £60 plus £17.50 per circuit for the first 10 circuits then dropping to £10.00 per circuit thereafter.

Example: EICR performed on a property with one distribution board with 4 circuits will be £60 + (£17.50 x 4 circuits) = £130 for which you will receive a comprehensive report of the condition of the installation. There may be cheaper contractors out there, but they won’t be as thorough. With safety being the cornerstone as to why EICRs are performed, why would you take the risk?

Note. We may reduce/waive the emergency rate depending on our schedule which is at the discretion of Woulfe Electrical Ltd. The rates above may also be reduced for larger works and will be agreed upon before works begin in the form of an estimate.
